The Heliconius melpomene genome and many other lepidopteran genomes are available on LepBase, as well as at ENSEMBL. LepBase is supported by a grant from the BBSRC awarded to us with Mark Blaxter.
Specimen database:
Earthcape specimen and lab database
This database is used to keep track of specimens and crosses in the lab. If you don’t have an account you can see data with the Username ‘Anonymous’ (no password needed). If you want to find specimens associated with a publication please navigate to ‘Record Sets’ and look for the relevant title. Contact Ian (iaw22 at cam.ac.uk) or Chris (cj107at cam.ac.uk) if you have any queries.
Useful code and information:
We have a lab Github page which has useful code, guidelines and the lab handbook. You need to have a GitHub account to access this.
We also have an internal Sharepoint site which is used for sharing files etc.
